Lincoln freed the slaves...and now he's slaying vampires
Have you guys ever heard of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? it's a novel written by Seth Grahame-Smith that mashes up Jane
Austen's classic Pride and Prejudice story and adds...you guessed it genius! ZOMBIES! It's actually being made into a movie and Natalie Portman is
set to play the lead character in that movie.
Well the writer has written another mashup called Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Check
out the trailer for the book.
Now if that doesn't excite you then there is something wrong with you. It's also been
announced that Tim Burton is interesting in directing this film. We'll see if that ever happens or if Tim Burton pulls what he did for Superman and
takes his check and runs for the hills. Frankly, I can do without Tim Burtons over reliance on quirky scenery I just want a FUN movie, something more
in the line of Black Dynamite . Something that pays homage to the old crazy films of the day and not some heavily financed CGI fest.
This is almost like seen Sin City, i think i kind of like it and could be a good movie. Burton wants to direct this one?..... i really dont know if say YES!!!! NOOOOOH!!! or whatever..... I think im just gonna say hum~.
Maybe Tarantino could make a bloody and still funny movie... ok, not funny but at least he could do a little about the vampires (I love Sunshine to Dawn, because shows more vampires and not only a kind) and make it a good movie, anyone have more sugestions about the director, cast ot how much CGI need to have?
