          Overrated? Un-original? Dances with Smurfs? say what you will about the movie but you WILL acknowledge it as the highest grossing film worldwide EVER. Avatar once again takes the #1 spot in week 7 making an impressive $30 million dollars bringing this 3D masterpiece at a domestic total of $594 million. Worldwide the numbers are just staggering, as it stands Avatar worldwide has made 2 billion dollars. Let me say that again so it fully registers in your poor broke poverty stricken mind. 2 Beeeeeeeeelllion dollars.

    Maybe it's the fact that Avatar has no real competition,  Mel Gibson's Edge of Darkness came in second bringing in a disappointing $17 million showing the Road Warrior might have finally lost his star power though he probably lost that the moment he called that cop "Sugar tits"

When in Rome came in 3rd at $12 million dollars showing no matter what movies are out there people will still flock to support crappy romantic comedies. Speaking of crappy movies The Tooth Fairy brought in $10 million dollars in week 2 bringing that total to $42 million dollars worldwide and since the movie cost $48 million it's sure to break even in the bank and the only people who will hurt from the experience are the people who got to the see Rock in a tutu.
