Silence you critics ! SILENCE!!!!
Now this is a story that makes me smile only because it shuts up those people who were focussing on how expensive the film was before they
even saw the film. I mean every other report was," Omg this movie better do good it cost like $500 million dollars!" Every single time James Cameron
was nice enough to do an interview they would squeeze in the issue of how much this film cost. It got annoying fast.
Now with Avatar getting
the #1 spot for a third week and bringing in $350+ million Domestically and $666+ million worldwide people can now kindly stfu. I mean who cares how
much the movie cost? It not only gave people tons of jobs, everything from animators to people who have the clean up after the sets. It's good that
studios are spending more money on films not less and Avatar is proof that people do want to see movies.
So what if the film isn't the most
original piece of story telling ever crafted on film? It did what it was supposed to do and that was bring people together. Everywhere I'm hearing
people have gone to see this film only to go back with their parents and grandparents to share the experience. It's a film with a universal story and
universal appeal and that is just smart movie making.
Avatar is on it's way to beating Transformers 2:Revenge of the Fallen which currently
sits at $402.1 million and even more amazing is Avatar is on it's way to being the highest grossing film since Titanic.
Fury, would you be happy if Avatar made more money than Titanic?
