Who WANTED more WANTED? ]

 Now with less Angelina Jolie!

A while ago news reports were making a big deal that Angelina Jolie has decided not to star in the sequel to Wanted , the action film starring James McAvoy based on the comic series. I don't know why this was such a big deal, Angelina's character died in the first film. That's it, caput! she was DONE for. She got a bullet to the head, bringing her back would cheapen and already cheap first movie.

So now they announce that the sequel will move ahead without her. Well ladi freakin' Da ! Maybe now you can focus on James McAvoy who is a much better actor and lets use the money that would have gone to Angelina Jolie toward some kick ass ACTION scenes. Not just regular action either I wanna see more crazy style assassin action that made the comics such an interesting read. Otherwise why bother making a movie based on it right?

I wonder if Terrance Stamp will make an appearance in the sequel because I enjoyed seeing him in the first film.

I was one of the people that saw the movie wanted, then read the book expecting to be about assassins and this code, bending bullets and all that. Suffice it to say i was flabbergasted when i finished the book and realized the two had little to nothing to do with each-other. Not to say i didn\'t enjoy wanted(the film). I did like it. I enjoyed McAvoy\'s performance, and the action was unique to an extent. What confuses me to no avail is the fact that they are so difference. i mean why make an adaptation that\'s not an adaptation. i suppose one could argue the film is to some extent in the same spirit as the book. They could have easily changed the name of a few characters, and taken out some references and boom. Your own original movie. But i digress. What im really wondering is what roll Mark Millar will play in this. Will this film delve more into the real world of wanted? or continue this assassin focused adaptation?
