Thanks for posting this Ezra I was kind of late putting this up. I wanna hear what people think about it. the Directors Cut of my review will be posted , in it I get into way more detail (spoiler free of course) about the movie. I'll show clips and overall just completely delve into this movie. Thats the main different between the reviews here and on youtube. Youtube is media free. So stay tuned.

I had no choice but to vote "terrific" because "Mind Blowing" wasn't listed.

Honestly, when I first saw the commercial I kinda scratched my head at it (maybe I was supposed to). But now leading up to this Friday, its one of my most anticipated movies this year and will be:

abomination
terrible
BAD
OKAY
GOOD
great

terrific

terrifiric. This is what going to the movies is all about. It does to Sci-Fi what the Dark Knight does to comic books. Best film of this year.

Finally saw it, and it was the most kick-ass movie I've seen this year.  I want to do a full review soon enough.  So keep an eye out for that on my blog:
http://zimman2-keepwatchingtheskies.blogspot.com/

This movie was just great.  The people I saw it with, I don't think appreciated it as much as I did, but whatever.  I see it for what it is: the best Science Fiction film in a long, long time.

I didn't mean to quote my own comment on the last one. By the way, I might see District 9 once again. It's that good in my opinion. It might die out after a while but, It will be my favorite movie ever for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooongtime. At least until District 10 comes out in 3 years (not official).

My quick review: If you haven't already, go see "District 9." Not only is it a very good movie, but it's a once in a lifetime opprotunity. I seriously think that 10-20 years down the road, this will be regarded as one of the all-time great and influential science fiction films. Right up there with Blade Runner, Forbidden Planet, the Alien movies and the Terminator movies. Not only will you get a great filmgoing experience, you'll be able to say "I was there" when the History channel is talking about it in a special 20 odd years down the road.

Thank you for your time, and have a nice day.
