I recently saw a very odd film titled
Run! Bitch! Run! Peep the trailer:
Warning: Extremely distasteful
Now, the ultimate question is, is the movie as good as it is vulgar? I know you might be thinking that no film with such content could be good but you may have heard the old saying, "Don't knock it until you"ve tried it."
The first half of this movie is similiar to
House of 1000 Corpses, while the second half is like
Kill Bill except it is much more vulgar. It's not the greatest film of all time (obviously), it’s low budget and most of the time seems to be made for the sake of shock value. A lotta stuff in this film will offend most people for the gratuitous nudity, violence, rape, language, & drug use. But I guess pushing to envelope is where
Run! Bitch Run! holds some of its charms. While the trailer is funny (and reminded me kinda like the
Grindhouse trailer), the movie didn't quite show up that way. The film is scum and I'm not sure if I like it for it's ode to "Exploitation films" or if i hate it for its "Sexplotation" elements. Idk, maybe this is just an understood movie, like
